Generalized Anxiety Disorder and Physical Symptom

In this generalized anxiety disorder and physical symptom section, we will discuss how to determine if you have this condition. Most people are under stress. It is normal to be anxious sometimes. There are also times when a person is under pressure and stress for many weeks. All people go through it. We live in a modern society where people are stressed out.

You need to seek help when anxiety starts to affect your health.

When you start having difficulty in concentrating or begin experiencing restlessness, stomachache, or headache; it probably means your health is in jeopardy. You may experience one or more of above symptoms. You do need help in this case. Many people with GAD cannot remember the last time they were relaxed. Also, many people feel bad about all aspects of their lives.

In my case, the anxiety was present since I was five years old. It lasted for many years till I had learned how to eliminate it with the help of alternative medicine remedies. Many psychotherapists suggest trying to figure out what causes anxiety in the first place. Then, it supposedly will be easier to find ways to reduce anxiety or to eliminate it totally.

It sounds like a good approach. However, a person with anxiety can pinpoint precisely the source of stress. It could be his work or his school. It could be his finances. It could be anything as small as his roof repairs. Nevertheless, finding ways to eliminate anxiety completely does not really work.

Let’s assume you have to do roof repairs. Seeing that you are nervous about roof repairs, your friends and relatives offer you assistance. Will your anxiety go away? No, your anxiety will be “transferred” to some other event in your life. You will continue to have the same physical symptom or symptoms with the same intensity or even more intensity than you had before you needed to deal with roof repairs. In another words, it will never go away by itself.

As you understand, I am very skeptical of any psychotherapy. People with anxiety disorders need a lot more than any modern psychotherapy can offer. When I say “more,” I mean various medicines. Psychotherapy is great if used in conjunction with medicines. However, if people know how to use different natural remedies in combination, they might not need any psychotherapy.

In summary, we all have learned that when anxiety manifests itself in different physical symptoms, it is time to think and to get help. Periodic worries are normal. However, if anxiety lasts for weeks and weeks, you need help.

What is the best way to treat a physical symptom of GAD?

I believe the best way to deal with generalized anxiety disorder is to learn using natural remedies in combination. That way, generalized anxiety disorder and physical symptom will be handled.
